The majority who go to Mallorca on holiday, travel there during the summer months, which means sun and warmth. What better than to swim in the sea? Mallorca has many tremendous beaches. Mallorca offers more than 100 different beaches in different sizes and different qualities. Precisely why it is obviously one of the most common activities that tourists engage. The entire coastline around Mallorca is about 550 km. In this distance you will find both bays and beaches, which together are about 50 km. The advantage of sunbathing and swimming on Mallorca is that the water is calm. It is rarely dangerous currents which makes it safe to try any of the many water activities available. These vary from beach to beach, and the largest collection can be found in the major tourist resorts such as Alcudia, Palma Nova and Magaluf.
The water activities most beaches offer is jet skiing, parasailing, banana boating, water skiing and pedal boats. These are also the most common. In some places, you can also snorkel if you like.

Most beaches on Mallorca, has sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, in others they are free. If you do not rent, do not hesitate to lie directly on the sand. Remember to use sunscreen as the sun can be very strong.
